What DioB doesn't like about Prestons Restaurant + Lounge:
The ravioli was to have a butter sauce, but it had a water sauce. The salmon was over cooked. The crabcakes were average. The cocktails were good. There was some good tables, but the host wanted to seat us in the worst table until I pointed out there was a good table, it seems like they need help to design the menu. There was a lot of food left on a lot of peoples plates. View all feedback. What Tony Joris likes about Prestons Restaurant + Lounge:
Convenient location near coal harbor, off the beaten path. Decent happy hour selections, tasty drinks and food. It appears to be slightly understaffed as we had one server practically serving most, if not all, tables in the main room. So service was a bit slow. Otherwise, still a good option to start your evening shenanigans in the city! View all feedback.

Better than I expected. The menu items are a bit pricey but it was very tasty.__Menu: I ordered the fish and asked for it without sesame seeds.
Pleasantly surprisedWas staying at the coast hotel attached and you never know how the restaurant is in those cases but turned out great.
Couldn't get their free wifi working on our MacBooks but the staff was friendly and actively looked into the problem.
Eating was delicious, though quite expensive. portions are small to medium. Decor/Ambience could be inviting/relaxing. no darling.

read morePreston's, located in a hotel, left diners feeling underwhelmed during a special Christmas dinner. The atmosphere was bland, with bright lighting and lackluster decorations. Despite some good food options, the service was lacking in knowledge and attentiveness. Some dishes were disappointing, like the bland desserts and incorrect sauces. However, the cocktails were good. In terms of service, some diners felt understaffed, leading to slower service. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant was praised for accommodating large parties and offering good happy hour selections. The menu was described as limited but the food was generally good, especially the mussels. Despite a TV incident, the bartender and service staff were commended for their excellent service. Overall, while Preston's had its flaws, including inconsistency in food quality and service, it still had some highlights worth revisiting for.
Good choice of food and pleasant surroundings. Not too busy. Food well prepared and nicely presented.
Always great food and great service. Really recommend the bennies
Food good but 30 min wait to order with no menu or greeting was awful, eat and get out as too late to go elsewhere
Food took a long time, grilled chicken tasted like rubber, fried were very overcooked, waitress messed up our bill, and it took a long time to pay.
Very good food and service. Appetizer serving size insufficient, in particular the Calamari. Mains were good serving sizes. Not at all busy on a Saturday night....
