I visited this restaurant since my friend worked here as a cook. two of us have tried a majority of their options, including nudelsuppen, cold noodles, sweet dishes, bark meat dishes, chicken dishes and crimped tea. my personal preferences are their cold noodles and bark dishes (tendon and tripe). with regard to a more desirable thick nude, it is recommended to choose a thinner for the handmade texture. a last thing... What User doesn't like about Sip Bowl:
definitiw misleading for the customer. I order a bowl with bark. but I was looking for 5 minutes and couldn't find a single peice bark. where is my bark? they charge me $15 for bark noodles but not bark meat in it. that's reddish. View all feedback.
It’s really cool how you can pick different different noodle sizes (there were about 5-6 options for thickness and shape), but I found the broth way too salty. We ordered the thickest and second-most thickest noodle. While I really enjoyed the thickness of the noodle, they were a bit too doughy; I wish it was a bit thinner depth-wise, which would have made the mouth feel much more pleasant. They offer chilli oil at the tables which is nice!
As someone from lanxhou and grew up eating noodles every day, they did a decent job on broth, taste similar to authentic lanzhou noodles, but the noodles is not as good. I really wish they could find out and improve the texture of noodles. overall they love the decor, service and hire, feel like home! would come back!
I've been here for ever, and their nudes are always amazing me. the broth is opened 5 hours before loading. the noodles are freshly pulled and everything is super tasteful. if they love nudity, that is a must try
Do not recommend getting the Supreme 25mm noodles. So thick and hard. At first I wasn't sure if it was cooked properly... the waitress offered a new bowl but the second bowl's noodles were still super hard. Also this place does not serve water or tea. There was a poster on the wall offering free drink if you post on IG tagging them, I did so and they told me it's for next visit... No where on the poster does it say that.
A cute, modern, yet small restaurant for a quick bite. The food was delicious, I got the Jiang Shui La Mian which comes with thin noodles and it came with A LOT of noodles. And for most dishes it seems you can choose your own noodles. There seems to be a decent selection of veggie heavy dishes. It was busy but the speed of service was pretty fast. It seemed to be easy to get in and out in about 20 minutes. Overall a good experience!
