"We show up a few minutes before closing after we’ve been working for 15 hrs. The worker told me to have a seat. Then when I told her there were 4 of us the workers decided to have a pow wow and decide to tell me they won’t serve us because they wanted to shut the kitchen down in a few minutes. Awesome customer service to say “Have a seat, never mind we don’t want to serve you “"

"One of our favorite places in Vandalia. Always get great Prime rib and there flower pot bread with honey butter is awesome. We love the small quaint atmosphere and super friendly staff. Highly recommended."

"The energy of this Denny was incredible. Dinner and a show of interesting people eating and working. Eating is exactly what you want on a road trip greasy and good. The staff seemed to be blunt, but it was great. Would be back to this jewel of a gas station Dennys. I'd like to score 6 stars if I could."
