"We had supper here on Monday July 17. We started with Samosa and if was fantastic. Piping hot and very tasty. The accompanying dip was great!Our main courses consisted of lamb and chicken. Lots of very tender and tasty pieces spiced perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant."

"A wide range of menu items from Steaks, to Schnitzel, Pasta dishes, Seafood and Salads. It's great comfort food. The wait staff is very friendly and the service is superb. They also have a wide range of choices for delicious desserts. This North Country Inn Restaurant is the BEST place to eat in Vanderhoof and central BC, bar none. I stayed in VDH for 1 week and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at this Restaurant. Every meal and every menu option is excellent."

"Well since there are few to no places to eat in Vanderhoof you have to take what you can get.This place is hit or miss. I suppose it depends on who is in the kitchen.4 of us went for lunch on Saturday and it was a miss this time.Had a soup and sandwich that I only was able to eat just one square of the sandwich and immediately wasn't feeling well.Needless to say, good thing I wasn't on a first date or something, cause immediately had to head home because I wasn't feeling well, not just me either. And pricey for the service and 4 meals at lunch with no alcohol over $100. So maybe pick a day during the week might be better."
