"This place is mostly a shop with a few chairs and couches scattered here and there. There was probably a load shedding, because when we arrived around 5 p.m. the place was mostly dark, so we sat on the balcony. We ordered pancakes and cheesecake. The pancake smelled mainly of uncooked egg and the cheesecake was very bland and ordinary. I will never visit this place again."

"Aum is the best cafe in town. Not just for the morning sun-lit upstairs seating area, but because it has a variety of vegan options. Not least, the cake selection. Big slices of vegan cakes, with vegan whip on top. Choc, Carrot, Cardamom, Apple Spice. They’ll do a good coffee too. Madu and the other staff are so sweet and the owner Sengita has such a beautiful aura too. Couldn’t recommend enough."

"Here I felt peaceful environment and homely comfort. Host and his family is good. Foods of here is very healthy and fresh. I have booked here dormitory room but host has given me private room it was very good but the interested thing is that he did not take any extra charge. Host also help for underprivileged kids and good yoga, astro teacher in varanasi. Rooftop is peaceful also and terrace has covered and no monkey when I have dried my clothes on rooftop it was safe and shanti place for meditation too."

"Had our afternoon tea here and quite enjoyed the cheese tomato toast. However, the green salad didn’t look so green. The view of Ganges/Ganga river was great even though the fog was pretty thick. "The food was very good! The location is very convenient. If you are staying near the Burning Heart Ghat. The staff was super friendly. Sushi was good. It was nice to have reasonably priced sushi in India but don’t expect sushi like you would get in Japan, or even in Canada, where I am from. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area."
