La Cabane - Vars

What Joseph Guibert likes about La Cabane:
We were staying 50m away from this restaurant and had seen it was No.2 on TA for restaurants in Vars. We went twice purely because we didn't have a great meal on our first visit and wanted to give it a second chance. Truly awful. Lovely setting, and a nice space, but we quickly realised we were not in for a gourmand treat! We therefore ordered the pierrade, but even this turned out to be a msitake. Raw chicken with salad on it on the plate? Really? In this day and age? Surely we all know that raw chicken should be nowhere near anything else we are going to eat without cooking it?
