"Eat here for 11.5 years and eat always well. I would say the best Japanese food near Bangor-Brewer. the owner and his children were very nice. they always recognized us. Too bad the owner changed soon, but he will keep everything the same, including the cook in the back. I love the appetizers, sushi, sashimi, main dishes from this restaurant. the price makes sense. a thing I would change is that the new owner wears something to cover his long bart. he works directly with the sushi production and customers can see him directly. it is not professional at all and feared to order the sushi/sashimi only if the haare falls from its bart."

"The best food for my favorites is their spaghetti with sausage and garlic bread. You definitely get the money, I always have enough left for one or two more meals. I never got a bad, disappointed meal from them. I like how you can customize your order online by making more of what you like and/or remove what you don’t it is so easy."

"I am in town for work and stayed in the comfort in Gasthof next door. After getting some recommendations from the staff in the shop, I work on them that I had to try Las Palapas. I'm very glad. I traveled far in the USA and Mexico. I just talked to my wife about it and after 2 visits I can say that this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the USA. The Tacos al Pastor are FIRE. Perfectly spiced, perfect amount of pineapple, beautiful spicy salsa 10/10. The staff is very attentive and pleasant. I will be in Bangor in October and will definitely come back."

"Great food, big portions. Friendly service 100%! Only downside was our server didn't write down our orders so my sides were wrong which another server fixed as our server was missing for the delivery of our meals and my husband's order was completely wrong, we didn't want to wait for another meal (the correct one) to be cooked as my food would have been cold by the time his came out so we didn't say anything. He just ate what they brought him. My suggestion if you get the lady server who doesn't write down your order, watch out. Great place though ?"

"If these are smoked wings I 'm a monkey 's uncle. Ordered 16, smoked, bone in wings with ranch rub and parmesan garlic. The label on the box, and the receipt say: smoked wings The order comes with curly fries... which were a soggy pile of blah. Not crispy at all. Maybe it 's due to the fact that they came in a plastic container and were soggified due to the steam. Maybe deliveries of fries should be made in paper bags. Without sauce, the wings are absolutely bland. And as I said, if these wings are smoked they should be ashamed of themselves. NO FLAVOR AT ALL. My husband ordered 22 boneless wings. They turned out to be tiny, quail egg sized nuggets...just meh. 22 bucks for glorified chicken nuggets! For a total of $44 bucks plus another 12 in tip and tax not worth it AT ALL. I will not be returning. I am also miffed that they advertise delivery on their website, but sent Doordash to deliver the order... incurring service fees. If my local Chinese place can deliver free why can 't this place?"
