What User doesn't like about Cortijo El Cartero:
We waited 1 hour after it was said there were many vegan options. The Humus starter was indeed the only option. The noodles were eggs. The other dish called Wok had fish sauce. They were pleasant and apologetic, but informed about what veganism is. Too bad because his beautiful place and a clean pretty place. View all feedback.
Cute Beach Restaurant with local food and incredibly welcoming staff. We enjoyed it a lot, especially when you arrive in time for the sunset.
To put it simply: skip this one. No matter how fancy it might look like or how the waiting line is...this chiringuito is the worst. After no communication and letting people wait for no apparent reason, the service turned out to be even more horrific. Served out the meals separately, so we had dinner individually. Food btw was very mediocre and they charge you a 'service fee ' in the end. Probably because they know nobody will give any fee because of an excellent experience.
We ate here twice and each time enjoyed good food in a beach town atmosphere, lots of families. Special note is an above average selection for vegans the veggie poke bowl stands out.
El lugar esta bastante bien ya que está a primera línea de playa. Ahora, el servicio un poco pobre, ya que nos han servido la bebida de primeras y al esperar la comida (40 min) nos la hemos bebido. Queríamos pedir más, pero como el chico que nos atendió no estaba en la zona se lo pedimos a otro, cual contestación fue que el no se encargaba de esa zona. Total, que hemos tenido que comer sin tener nada de bebida. Al igual con la cuenta, estábamos por irnos sin pagar ya que tardaban en pasar por la mesa. Por el resto bastante bien, la comida riquísima!
Todo muy rico y el personal muy amable. Recomiendo los pokes están muy ricos.
