"I think the title says it all, great smiling service, everyone is really nice and helpful. The muscles are to die for, we had 3 different ones and all were delicious. None of us could finish the huge delicious bowl. Went out of their way...to find a lactose free desert for our son. No wonder they are N’1 on Trip Advisor. We will definitely come back here during our next visit. Thanks for the nice time."

"We went here on the last night of our holiday. We booked a table in advance by phoning earlier that day. We were glad we did as it was very busy upon arrival and it’s a small restaurant but most of the tables outdoors overlooking the beautiful lake by Piqueyrot. The tables not covering by an awning had blankets on the chairs. Service was excellent- be prepared to use French as everything was explained to us in French. There is a children’s menu with two options, one of which had fish which my sons loved. There is a great range of aperitifs on offer. It was difficult to choose which dishes to have as so many sounded delicious. I had the goats cheese wrapped in puffed pastry and accompanied by a goats cheese ice cream which was very unusual but very nice. My husband had the Camembert. For mains we had prawns and steak-again both were very good. The lemon meringue dessert (de-constructed) was a little too runny but still tasted very nice. The waiting staff were very attentive and re-filled our water and bread basket without us having to ask. My daughter’s booster seat was immaculately clean. It is more expensive than other restaurants in the area but the quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere makes it worth it."
