I can't believe that the previous reviewer was talking about the same restaurant, as each of the four dishes that we had were fresh and delicious, and at a price well below that which you pay in Venice for really inferior fayre. We had bypassed the throngs in the first restaurant coming from the ferry, and were pleasantly surprised to find tables free here, with the others mainly occupied by locals. Our host, Luca, w... I’m not sure who died before we arrived, but the staff were beyond miserable. They were completely rude and we both felt like being there annoyed them. The food was like a school dinner. And the egg had scrambled on the carbonara. I have literally made better at home. Do not waste your time or money on this miserable bunch of people. Also the red wine was fizzy which was weird. The restaurant offers a dining area with chairs and tables, and there's a counter where you can sit down and taste. If the weather are right, you can also be served outside, and for the littlest guests, there is a high chair.
