"We stumbled upon this charming, small restaurant on our way back from Fondamente Nove. (Head down a small alleyway, not the main thoroughfare) It has a small outside enclosed terrace which was, sadly, too chilly at this time of year. Had a delicious lunch of the freshest scampi and squid, with a lovely green salad of the freshest variety of leaves (I know, but a good salad is a rarity in Venice). A really good half bottle of wine as they don't sell by the glass, and friendly service. We headed back on our last night but forgot to check opening hours (closed Wednesdays). Greatly disappointed but plan to return on my next trip. They have an accomplished cook in their kitchen, unlike so many Venetian restaurants."

"We were a bit late for lunch, so we could “only” choose pizza. The pizza list is very long and the waiter said, that they serve “the best calzone in the world”. We tried two versions and were not disappointed. Staff is friendly and the location at the water side very nice."
