"The service and food were faultless in a romantic candlelit setting (despite having our children with us! under the arched ceilings of a Catalan farmhouse. The alfresco dining area in the garden looked lovely but was not being used as it had just rained. The food is locally produced but with an inspired twist. Do not miss the salmon ceviche, turbot green curry, black rice with red mullet or chocolate tart. The local wines are delicious and the staff will kindly advise you which might suit your palate and meal. El Sal surpassed all expectations. Enjoy!"

"We stopped here for lunch while walking back from the Dali museum to the train station based on the ratings. What an amazing find! They had a fixed price menu for 15Euro/person that included a first+second dish, wine, dessert, bread and coffee. The food was awesome! It came up quickly and was fresh flavorful and the portions were very generous. The place was packed with locals but we were able to walk in and get a table. The staff loved having some travelers and they took very good care of us even with limited English and my limited Spanish. I'm so glad we skipped food in the touristy area around the Dali museum and decided to find a place on the easy walk back to the train station."
