"Facing the ancient Roman harbor of Ventotene in the Bay of Naples is a restaurant run by young dynamic people with a top notch chef.....and all that for a reasonable price in an absolutely magical location. The first night we stepped off our boat to a lovely typical Italian meal. These people make their own grissini though and their fried fish was delicious as were the pasta dishes. There was an interesting wine list as well. The next time we ate there 2 days later, the chef made us a special meal and it was inventive, tasty and fun. They also make great coffee, and Italian pastry in the morning. It 's the place to go in Ventotene!"

"I arrived for lunch at 12.45 the owner and wait staff were sitting and talking. I smiled, waved but no one could be bothered to acknowledge me. After standing and watching them joke among themselves for 3 minutes I left."

"Cozy traditional restaurant. Great service and lovely food. Freshly caught fish every day, and vegetables grown on the island make the place worth a visit each year. Ask for advice and you will get good guidance in the menu and wine list. The owner, Antonio, belongs to one of the island's first settlers and knows everything about the island's history.In his charming way, he makes the guests feel welcome to Zi Amaila and Ventotene. Go there for breakfast and you will meet Ventotenes residents who drinks coffee and have a chat. I love this place and come back every year"

"Phone to book and kindly warn me that I am not a restaurant but a bar bistrò and therefore no classic dishes before and second. but only flavors, snacks, things like that. thanks to clarification. extra reason to come from green. Well, I have to say it's a shame to have discovered you the last day of your stay on the island. I was just passing by you for the coffee in the middle of the morning. but your apericena in late evening with spritz and fried sauces, sauce meatballs, caponata, oranges,. It was a good experience. many good things of tradition but with original and fresh variations, cooked with wisdom and served with courtesy. I was also advised the beer made with the hops of Ventotene. All right. Go on."
