"Based on the jetty of the old Roman port in Ventotene, this place could qualify as a tourist trap but it most definitely isn't one! Charming staff, relaxed atmosphere, great food and at a price which is incredible value for money! Being in the port, they boast an incredible array of fish, shellfish and other treasures from the deep. After our most relaxing dinner, we found out that the owner was married to the sister of the Marina's operator, who is a very nice character in his own right! Go and enjoy."

"Small friendly bar in the piazza under brand new management. Fantastic linguine with wild asparagus and cherry tomatoes and the best swordfish we have had for years and all reasonably priced too. So good we had the same for lunch two days running! We wish them all the best in their new venture if they keep up that standard they will do well."

Antonio and his brother are magicians in the kitchen, knowing where to get the best, most local and fresh products that Ventotene and its sea have to offer, and combining them with confidence and a lot of love for their guests. The absolute best of Italian cuisine to my taste, in a simple yet warm and family setting, all for extremely reasonable prices considering the island. Cannot recommend this place enough!"
