What Tracey Askling doesn't like about Nonna Vita Trattoria:
Ordered an eggplant parm pizza was told 30 minutes was there in 25 minutes and was ICE COLD and awful. It’s been almost a year since we ordered because it wasn’t good the last time and now we’ll NEVER ORDER AGAIN!!!Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
Food is very good but this place won't be around for long if they continue to be closed all day on Sundays (especially during the NFL season). Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Nonna’S Classic Pizza

TL:DR It was fine, but no traditional Sicilian slices. Went in to get some take out on the way home from work. It wasn 't too busy, so I could go right up to the counter. When I asked about getting a slice of Sicilian, they told me they don 't make it they make something called Nonna 's Classic pie. So I got a slice of that, and a slice of plain pizza. If you pay cash, they don 't charge you tax. If you pay with a card, they charge you tax, and a credit card fee. Which is kind of ... weird. The plain slice of pizza was good. It was exactly what you should expect from a plain ol ' slice of cheese pizza. It was a little larger of a cut than usual, which was nice. The Sicilian alternative was ... fine? I guess? The cheese is on the bottom, and the sauce is on the top. There 's also a bit of Parmesan sprinkled on top of that. The crust is much thinner than a Sicilian slice. Selling it as a Sicilian substitute is not accurate. I would not get it again, because ... well because it 's not what I wanted. Again, overall this place was fine. If I want to get some NJ average pizza in a pinch, I 'll go back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
