After twelve days in France we were over battling with restaurants not making an effort to assist English speaking tourists and so it was an immediate yes when we were shown a menu in English. Looking for a specific restaurant but finding it closed down, we stopped off here for drinks while deciding where else to go to eat. A long days travelling, a very hot October evening and a thirst, led to my succumbing to advertising and going against the norm while in France of ordering a large beer.
