Staying locally we were recommended to try this place. Was not open evenings at the time so went for lunch. Sat outside with views to the charming town square. Sadly the food did not meet our expectations of French cuisine . Veal was gristly although in a nice sauce . Sides of potato and vegetables below par. Sadly could not recommend this place as there are much better places in the vicinity. read more.

Six of us went for lunch here and the food was excellent and very tasty ..... my choice was the Rognons de Veau plus the Mousse de Chocolat

"There are these places called tourists where you don't have to get caught and follow the reviews. On the frantic greedy recreation is one of those restaurants where you can go without any fear of finding yourself in a tourist trap. This establishment is held by a couple: colette and yann (one in kitchen and the other in the room). a more than warm welcome from yann that takes the time to explain the concept and the map, a refined cuisine while remaining simple because with excellent products from Colette. The place is also splendid, a carefully decorated decoration without being too busy (the risk sometimes in these old stone houses). A room of about 40 covered in two rooms so think to book, especially during the summer period of high affluence!"

"Came here two years ago and really enjoyed it. Back again! The setting is very pleasant and relaxed outside eating just off the square.The owner/head of front of house remembered us from two years ago and was friendly and entertaining commenting on how the...children had grown (11 and 9 now). We were given crispy bread with a garlix mayonnaise dip to keep us going. The food was pretty quick to come and just as tasty as we remembered it. We all had pizzas the Calzone is a favourite, chorizo pizza was tasty. The bases were light and flavoursome. The puddings were excellent too, the chocolate pistachio dish superb, but the classic creme brûlée was the best. Not the cheapest meal you will have but very enjoyable."
