I was almost a year since we ate here. when we came, we noticed some changes at the venue as well as the menu. the employees were all incredibly nice and helpful, even for their first day. the bar manager came by, imagined and was very helpful and even told us about upcoming events. What August Hintz doesn't like about Blackwell's:
I want Blackwells to be good. It is very close to my house and the food is pretty good. But... The service is consistently slow and has been for years, even under new management. I have been numerous times when they are slow and it's incredible how long it can take to get food. Tonight I ordered a to-go order, they gave a 30 min pickup time which is long to begin with.
