"Amazing food and wine, served by a very friendly and knowledgable staff. Small menu but with a wide variety (from meat to fish to vegetarian, starter was even vegan). Everything we tried was really good. It is a bit further from the old town but well worth the detour."

"Visited as a family on our first day in Viagrande, the hottest day of the year yet in Sicily. Shown to a rooftop dining area with a cool breeze and view up to Etna. Greeted with a bruschetta amuse bouche and a small glass of Prosecco. Thoughtful, attentive service guided us to starters of burrata and prosciutto, Speck and grilled cheese, both excellent and served with local bread and oil. We then had beautiful pizzas (even the small one for our youngest was large, so plenty leftover for an excellent lunch next day . Highlight was my pizza with burrata, local tomatoes, rocket (rucola and prosciutto. We finished with a pistachio ‘heart’ (like a green lava cake, rich and delicious and a Cannoli (smashed possibly as a tribute Massimo Bottura’s lemon tart? . Washed down with local artisan beer and wine. A tribute to the waiter who was climbing two flights of stairs to get to us from the kitchen, in the heat, and yet appeared calm and collected if a little breathless."

"Delicious food and very nice service! We had a little misunderstanding during the order but the service was nice and fixed the error without any problem. We ate the best amatriciana we've ever had (even in Rome we didn't eat that good! . Seafood pasta and King prawns was delicious too"
