"Stayed overnight in Viborg during vacation and had a great beef dinner here. Meat was really tasty, perfectly cooked and accessories (salad and fries) were also spot on. Not the cheapest place and charging extra for tap water when we had both wine and beer is not OK and the place only deserves 3 stars because of this. Would have given them 4 stars out of 5 if this did not happen."

"So yesterday evening I came to this restaurant which I have been to before and found it excellent. This occasion however it was not. I arrived with my partner at 20:20 in the evening on a very quiet night at the restaurant, waiting a few minutes to be seated and immediately ordering drinks. We waited a further 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order even though we had kindly motioned for the waitress to come over on two occasions, we then ordered a starter and a main at 20:45. And then the waitress came back 5 minutes later to say that we couldn 't have a starter because the kitchen closes at 21:00, we weren 't impressed due to the fact we had already been here for 25 minutes so if the service was more prompt then we would have been 'allowed ' to have a starter. Our food arrived rather quickly, not surprising since the chef wanted to go home I imagine. I ordered a beef tenderloin steak with fries, a sauce and on a bed of roasted vegetables. Unfortunately the food was also not up to the same standard it was the previous time we were there. The steak and sauce had no seasoning, both very bland indeed, the fries were soggy almost, and even the roasted vegetables were not tasteful either. Overall a very disappointing experience here on this occasion which is a shame as it is a lovely restaurant usually, I just hope these low standards do not remain."

"We were here 3 generations for a Christmas lunch that we all had seen. We were taken well against and had ordered seating together. But when we had to order the food, the first problem, the lighting was miserable because the lamps were not present to our tables. They hung over the tables around us, so it was a little difficult to read the menu card. The restaurant had chosen to set extra tables in the room, but forgot to think about the lighting. We have eaten here before, but then there was something more distance between the tables. The next problem occurred when all food and drinks should be placed on the table that lacked simple space. We felt everyone as “sild in a barrel”. The only positive I have to say about the place is the service and the food was good. I know well there is an economic crisis where earnings are about survival. But here I don’t come again, so nice was not to sit so close, in so little room."
