"This is a great little spot on a square, a bit off the beaten track for tourists where there are more locals than tourists. We started with a mix of appetizers of fried polenta, onion marmalade, cheese and I'm not sure what else, but it was a delightful experience for the palate. This food is why you come to Italy. I had the Tagliata di Cinta Senese (fried pork) and it was exceptional. If this was what I could get in Italian restaurants in the States, I would order more than just pizza. Alas, you have to spring for a trip to Italy to expand your horizons in Italian cuisine."

"My airbnb host recommended this place for me as homemade pasta and traditional food. I can undoubtedly say this is one of the best in Pisa. Their specialty is thick spaghetti, we love it, tastes absolutely amazing. The portions are really big, and can be easily shared. The place is cozy and can get busy really fast. Reservation is definitely necessary or comes when they just open. I didn’t make reservations and came around the open time. After 20’, the place was full.
