We were quite lucky in that it was just my partner and I in the restaurant for nearly 2 hours. Our server was amazing and really made the night special.

Excellent appetizer, meal and dessert yet again. Wine/apéritifs paired perfectly. Dining room service exceeded expectations.

Very pricey but the food was superb as was the service. Also did a great job accommodating a food allergy.

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"We chose lunch on The Veranda over the Empress High Tea - and were very pleased we did. As others have mentioned the view over the gardens and harbour is superb and the food and service excellent. This was one of the highlights of our two days in Victoria."

"Enjoyed dinner with my girlfriend on the water on a cold winter night with a magnificent view of the water even when it was snowing. Showed up with no wait and was seated immediately and coats were checked. Server did take some time to come but understandable that it was a full house and during the holidays not all staff were on duty. Ordered the Risotto and Short Rib Lasagna and was definitely not disappointed at all. Food tasted great and whole experience was just good stuff. Will definitely be back!"
