"Although Waltham Kitchen are mainly outside caterers and very good ones at that, they also offer a small seating area within their premises, where you can go at get some breakfast or lunch. The staff are incredibly attentive, the food is local and always of a high standard and you are guaranteed to find a little hidden gem situated on Cleethorpe Road."

"Perhaps it was a bad day but neither of us thought this was very good, certainly not excellent. The service of the waitresses could not be faulted, the drinks and bread and butter arrived very quickly but we seemed to wait a long time for...our haddock and chips, not their fault. The fish was not as good as some we have had recently from other places and the batter was a little thick and not as crispy as we would have liked. It was very hot, which was a plus point."

"A warm and welcoming atmosphere. not loud, we called a weekday during school holidays and did not notice children. the staff was very friendly and helpful. no separate vegan menu, no vegan mayonnaise, vegan options clearly marked on the menu. beyond burger was amazeballs. had to pay for BBQ sauce as this was the only vegan sauce that was laid on my burger. not specified 5* due to limited options for vegans. jacket potato/burger /pizza. eating was hot and tasty like. would definitely visit again. updated by previous review on 2021-08-16"

"Booked Sunday lunch for two The food was excellent Service at the beginning was super but then dropped off after the meal was served Just a small niggle knowing it could have been so much better Being asked if we needed anything like another drink and finished plates cleared away we sat looking at empty plates for a long time. The table next to ours had to go to the bar to get a drink. Not major but needs addressing. Most important part is the food which was very tasty piping hot We both had the set Sunday lunch One beef which was succulent served pink, mine was turkey which was just as good with a pig in blanket and stuffing. Both served with cream and roast potatoes, baby glazed carrot mixed greens and a wicked cauliflower cheese and delicious gravy. There are other options on the menu. We finished off with a scrumpy desert of sticky toffee pudding with raisin ice cream home made brandy snap and a puree of something, not sure of what possibly raisin or date. All of the meal was very good We recommend you try it for yourself. "Helpful workers who pointed out what/can be made vegan. divided satay tofu, early rolling and vegetable honeycombs to start. then for the main, pad see ew (minus das ei,) which is one of my favorite Thai dishes and this is not disappointed! could not mistake any of the food"

"I was going to leave a review on your Facebook page but for some reason I cannot work out how to do it. But honestly the carvery I had today was absolutely amazing and I used to work in a carvery for many years. The service was also spectacular, seated as soon as we arrived, drinks came very quickly, was told to wait for the restock of carvery which I find very good! (No one wants to only see a tiny bit of veggies in a dish on the deck) didn't wait too long either. Was definitely worth the wait! A massive choice of meats and vegetables which for me was out of this world. All meats were cooked to perfection, simply lent my fork on the meat and it fell apart all veg was very tasty too. Nothing seemed too much trouble at all. Plates were taken as soon as we had finished too. Always asked if everything was ok with our meals throughout. Even the carvery chef stopped to speak to us about the food at the bar as we were paying. I couldn't recommend this place enough and it's definitely not known to as many people as it should. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't spent 20 minutes looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and I'm over the moon I've found this little gem hiding away in the fields we will be back without a doubt and I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about this place. The pub itself is very homely and cosy which I love the feel of. Everything all clean and tidy and all staff seemed very pleasant. Sometimes hard to find these days.
