Run by a very nice , sympatisch Portuguese family, Senhor Vinho is a small wonderful surprise in Margareten, the 5th district. The recipes are genuine , traditional and very tasty. A place with a charm the way it is decorated. A surprising experience to have a host presenting what’s on the menu with a blackboard. Good taste, small portion, well presented but expect it’s pricey. Senhor Vinho is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Vienna. The atmosphere is great in this little family run restaurant. Food is great original portuguese cuisine. Daniel one of the owners shows and explains the menu to each table (a chalkboard...with the different dishes that are served), which is not big but its always hard to decide what to choose. Its a great place for family celebrations or a nice dinner with friends. Really the only downside is that when it is very busy, which it always is (make sure to book a table in advance) it can get quite loud.
As Portuguese I felt in my country during the dinner because everything...food, environment, staff and listen Fado it was an amazing and perfect experience. Great Restaurant. Perfect food and nice price.
Großartig! Haben bereits lange vorher für einen besonderen Anlaß reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Stilechtes Ambiente, leckeres Essen, tolle Weine,sehr sympathischer Inhaber und Personal.
War zum ersten Mal da, aber sehr positiv überrascht. Es hat alles gut geschmeckt, die Bedienung schnell und kompetent. Kann nur empfehlen!
