"In retrospect, we mader two mistakes coming here. Firstly, it was a public holiday, and the place was just swamped with hopeful lunchers, clearly more than the kitchen staff could cope with. Secondly, whereas normally the set meal is the best choice on the menu,...in a high class joint like this, especially when it 's under stress, the set lunch will probably be thrown together with rather less care than other more expensive and refined choices on the carte. We were here for my sister 's birthday, but we were also on a budget, so whereas everyone else chose the set lunch, I went for the even cheaper workman 's special . As it turned out, both came with the same curiously acidulated sauce and the same (quite nice) puree de pomme de terre, but while mine was quite a respectably cooked sausage, theirs turned out to be slightly singed spare ribs, which had been kept waiting too long for optimal tastiness. That said, the wine, the desserts, and the general atmosphere were all excellent, even if the meal itself was disappointing."

"A fourth stay in this Logis hotel. The rooms are sufficiently correct and clean for a professional trip. The table is excellent fine and hearty dishes, tasty wines. The dishes are so hearty that I didn't take the dessert from the menu. Me neither. Just a coffee served before leaving and that was charged for an extra charge. I noticed to the young woman who cashed me that he could have been put in balance of unused foods, what she told me that he compensated for the fact that some take a very hearty breakfast (sub emeritus, dear to them and that you have to catch another customer). Not dramatic but damaging to customer service."
