"We returned to The Fornaria with a party of friends and children and everyone agreed it was our best Portugese meal by far. Yes it is a tad on the expensive side, averaging approx 30 Euros a head for three courses with wine, but worth every penny. Particularly the seafood and steaks."

"Me and my husband are staying in salema, we didn't fancy a fish dish so opted for pizza we totally underestimated this place. The food arrived very quickly, the staff are pleasant we sat just from the kitchen and the chefs all had a feel...good factor to them, All smiles, Laughing was a good atmosphere. We had three course meal each and the bill was only including alcoholic drinks so very cheap dinner and great food. The garlic bread with walnuts was insanely good so highly recommend. We are planning to come back with our children given the experience we had."
