The Asuncion Restaurant is disastrous. My opinion does not seem to be a fleeting impression. Me and my friends were mistreated by the owner of the establishment! At lunchtime, on Thursday 30/07/2015, I went with 3 friends to the restaurant to use a coupon from the eat in river guide in the restaurant. Although there is no restriction to that date at the coupon, the waiter said they would not attend to us. I called the manager, a coarse lord, who repeated information sloppy as if he were talking to second-rate customers. Despite this - exercising my understanding and patience - before accepting my bad luck and asking the dishes out of the condition I expected, I asked if any of the owners of the restaurant was present. He said no, but gave me a place card. While we chose our dishes I called the cell phone written on the card. Dona and Chef Mirka Lage answered. And she said she was in the restaurant. It disappointed me deeply: The manager had lied. Mirka, despite the educated ways, maintained the irrational position that - despite the contract with Ear in Rio did not say anything about the service restrictions she proposed - not all dishes were included in the promotion and there were time constraints on the days of week. Beautiful restaurant, good service and delicious food. Price of dishes around 70 reais. Super well served. I could have more options on the menu. I liked it and I intend to return.
