"If you are lucky enough to venture into the cultured town of Vila Nova De Cerveira, this is a must place to visit. The food and drinks are varied and delicious but most of all it's the great lively yet very much Portuguese 'chilled' atmosphere that you will fall in love with! This is the sort of bar where you may plan to pop in for 'only one' and you could very well find yourself there four hours later! (Soaking in the lively ambience and chomping on the delicious fresh and well prepared food). Run by locals, this little bar meaning both 'cork lamp' and 'enjoy that' certainly caters to satisfy all its customers. The bar is popular with both locals and tourists (which already speaks volumes in itself) so I would recommend you get there early for a seat (I saw disappointed locals having to walk away as there were no seats left, but then happily returning later) and I would also recommend that you try the Padron Peppers and a glass of Sangria...by far, both; one of the most superior and most delicious I've ever tasted! There are some great little outside seats (which are really cosy and allow you to soak in the village atmosphere) but you can equally get that fun Portuguese chill out ambience in the bar, where you will see many happy faces. I would definitely recommend this place and I must point out the most attractive thing... you may order a lot but you will be surprised when you get the bill. The prices of food and drink is such good value for money! And the food and drinks are so tasty! What you get here at Curt Isso you would never find in London!"
