Sara Barroca is probably one of the oldest restaurants in Famalicão, family owned by generations. I was there in San Anthony's week, Sardine Party was announced...

Wooden tables and seats, you can feel the patine on both dining rooms. You feel like eating a friend. Old Portuguese dishes, excellent wine to go with.

"They have about 10-12 tables. I got there at noon and all tables available. At 1255pm all tables full and they apparently take reservations. Had soup, chickpea salad for main, tea, berry crumble for dessert. Great food, all for €7.50."
