Dined one night at hotel restaurant after spending whole day hiking and not wanting to drive somewhere. And that should probably be the only reason to chose this restaurant, that you are already there as a guest of the hotel. Views are nice, but food is nothing to write home about.
We had a great lunch overlooking the sculpture garden and lake. Dining room and the anteroom are filled with art for sale. It is very elegant and pretty and understated. We saw some rooms and it seems a great place to chill out when stressed. Food as very good. I had octopus and risotto, but all others at my table had the tomato tart that seemed fabulous. Service was outstanding and very professional and not slow. Great choice for a weekend or a lunch
Food and service is spectacular! Everything we ordered was amazing. We tried Mate for the first time, too.
Just.Wow! Great wine cellar and amazing chef! We dined there a few nights. Elevated cuisine. Just delicious! Try the house blended wine--very nice! They also introduced me to a lovely sparking wine, Fin del Mundo.
