"Love this place but I love Johnny and Kat even more! Putulas is like sitting outside your own home on the patio with great friends having drinks and snacks. You always feel at home and welcome, the food is good and the drinks are yummy so if you haven't been you're missing out!"

"It's not the patio anymore. Andrew died. It is now Las Palmeras, owned and managed by Nilsa. Great food and wonderfully open atmosphere. I especially recommend Happy Hour BBQ for Wednesday."

"I was in this fascinating project with a group of mountain bikers on a busy MTB tour. For us this was a great place to recover as it is refreshingly cool at this height in the evening. The rustic cabanas are clean, simple and yet built with an eye to detail. Comfortable beds, refreshing showers. No hot water, which is good with me. When we arrived, we rehydrated fruit juice and arometic teas. For dinner there was plenty of delicious food. Buffet breakfast offered a lot of choice for care, especially excellent mangoo. Hot coffee and rich hot cocoa plus fruit juices and teas. Great start to the ride. All food, fruit, coffee, cocoa, teas are grown on the finca that creates jobs for locals. The meat is produced locally. Mario Gonzalez leads the project and is a mine of information. He was supported by Raquel. I highly recommend to relax here, learn about sustainable agriculture, enjoy the view, go for walks. The gravel road from Ranchete to the finca is steep. Only via doable on a mountain bike if you are in very good shape. Most guests are picked up in Ranchete and drive to the finca in a 4x4 pick-up truck. Bicycles fit in the back."
