Ellen (owner) adds her own home cooking touch to the menu with Mac salad, veggie salad, her own tuna salad and chicken salad subs. Her 1/2 subs are the size of a whole sub anywhere else. Best value in Alfred I think. I've been eating lunch here 2-3x/week and haven't had a bad meal yet. 4 stars only because of the limited menu, but she has no choice at the moment due to the pandemic reducing her customer demand. The quality of the food here is below average. The meat is cheap, and slimy. The bread is not fresh and the final product is what you might expect from the fridge at a gas station (except the prices are much more expensive.
