What david parry doesn't like about The Farmhouse Café:
9 AM, loudondter heavy metal music playing from the kitchen area. Pursued the menu, omelette $17.25, music drives us out the door. Went right next door to Lake Placid Diner, cheerful greeting, coffee immediately, soft faint background music, 3 egg monster omelette $12.50. View all feedback.
Food was excellent. Eggs, French toast, oatmeal and berry bowl were delicious. Highly recommend this place for breakfast
Potatoes were gross, Tea tasted like it was brewed in a dirty pot, fruit was not washed, charged an extra mystery admin fee . Seems to me that alot of these positive reviews are fake. Do not waste your time eating here.
A must if you are in Lake Placid. They have the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had. I went there a few times because it's so good. Great staff, service and value priced too.
Worthy of stopping in for breakfast, service and food where excellent. Small places but really fresh food and product. Presented with style
The food was great, but they charged 4% credit card fees on top and didn't say anything before. Waiter was rude when asked about it said it's a government rule to charge extra when using credit cards. Just exploitation.
