Great place, I'm here several times and every visit was really good. The Burritos are good and relatively cheap. Better thrive every chain.

Excellent food for extremely competitive prices. Friendly service. Will definitely be returning the next Placid visit.

"2 vegan options 1 vegan desert.... But it's worth it. We had the vegan pizza and a pita, both were full of taste and so good. The chefs here are super talented. We didn't have room for dessert, but if the main courts were any indication of how the dessert would have been, I can guarantee that it would have been great!"

"Best dinner restaurant in lake placid! tonight there was an evening meal. hist happy gave us outside seat with see placid view. very nice relaxing atmosphere. our server logan was amazing and friendly. we ordered their award-winning hit buffalo wing, and they are absolutely crazy, full of taste, well balanced flavor. then we ordered smoked bowl with ripened meat, another smoked bowl with bun. potato with seasoned and maisbrot and ordered thunfisch. everything was amazing, mouthwater. they have a good choice of food. definitely recommend this restaurant, can not wait to go back. beautiful clean restaurant."

"What a treat! Our family of five had a wonderful dinner experience at The View. The reception was over the top with hot refreshing towel service and personalized menus. We were seated at a window table for a beautiful view (it looks like the majority of tables have wonderful views).Our server, Riley, was courteous and genuine, seeking to make sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. I very much appreciated her attention to detail in remembering which of our party had allergies or dietary needs.The food itself was fantastic. I had all three courses: Gouda custard, risotto fritters, and chicken. The chicken, with za'ataar spices, was one of the absolute best I've ever had and I heartily recommend it.Excellent experience over all!Do make a reservation early.Parking was easy in the back (drive up the driveway on the left of the hotel).Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions and allergies were discussed when the reservation was made, and our server was well informed when we arrived."
