What Brain Davis doesn't like about La Doline:
Le resto s'appelle en fait La Doline. Il est mis en avant par le guide michelin. Nous avons été un peu déçu car on en attendait un peu plus. Dommage d'avoir des tomates "industrielles" au mois de mai dans les entrées. La truite était bonne et bien cuite. Le poulet relativement sans goût quoique "bio". La carte des vins est bien diversifiée et propose de vins rapports qualité prix. read more.

We dropped in for breakfast after a big day/night at the Nannup pub.

"We were staying in Nannup and came to the Blackwood Cafe for dinner and I had to call it and say it was the best meal I'd had all year!! I ordered the lamb shanks with sweet potato mash and red wine reduction. It was...superb and I didn't want it to end. What a gem of a find. I have been meaning to write this review as it was a couple of months ago we were there . I did manage to congratulate the lovely chef on my way out she told they cook all day, she looked proud of those lamb shanks as well she should be. Get in the car now and drive to Nannup and order them. It will be worth the journey!"
