"Had dinner at Cafe Evangeline a few nights ago with friends and we all really enjoyed this restaurant. We each thought the food we ordered was excellent. Very nice ambiance. We had great service and enjoyed chatting with Jake, the owner. Prices were extremely reasonable. We received our orders promptly. My wife and I had crabmeat stuffed trout and crab cakes; both excellent. Our only disappointment was the lack of a meaningful wine selection. The only Chardonnay choice, for example sells for five dollars a bottle on-line (yep, we looked it up on the spot! . Granted, a glass was only five dollars but I'd rather pay twice that or more, as most restaurants charge, for a nice middle of the road wine like J. Lohr, Kendall Jackson, Chalk Hill, etc. Jake thanked us for coming when we were leaving which I always appreciate. Will definitely be making the drive there again."

"I work out here and order on the app. 90% of the time and it’s still wrong. I don’t have time to go back and have them fix my order. How hard is it to look at a screen and fix the correct thing? If you order food for the family, better sit there and check it all because I can promise you that it’s wrong. Not a hard job people."
