"Passing by between Montargis and Sens recently and desperately looking for dinner on a Saturday evening, we were saved by previous trip advisor reviews which convinced me to do a detour to try out Le Gatinais. It definitely was worth the little detour! Great attention to the ingredients, their presentation, thoughtful menu, gourmet French cuisine without too much hassle and at a reasonable price!"

"The restaurant has a wonderful flow location under the trees. it was a wonderful space for a meal, especially as it got a little later and the hornets no longer sweated around. the menu is limited, but beautiful, although all of us met as on the...richer side. the amuse bouche was ok, but not great; and our ordered eating was solid but subduing. the service was slow and a little frantic would have done definitiw with an additional portion or two. we can't get any specific highlights and left feeling disappointed after we booked in advance to get a table."
