Got da take away for dinner the other night whilst down there for work. Counter service was good and plenty to choose from. I ordered a clear soup. Steamed rice and a duck and vegetable curry. Cost about $31 all up. Packaged well so no chance of spilling in car. read more.

Our take away was disappointingly poor compared to the food served at the old restaurant. Pad thai had no seasoning and was like eating plain, gluggy rice noodles, Massaman beef was dry, stringy, flavourless and definitely not of medium level heat, BBQ chicken was more like curried chicken and definitely didn't appear to be grilled over an open fire as it had absolutely no BBQ flavour. Absolutely beautiful food here, as a vegan I 100% recommend their tofu Panang curry, it’s made using coconut milk and it’s probably the best Thai food I’ve ever...

"Booking was simply made online. The restaurant was not overly busy, but the service was slow and a little unorganized by training. Meals were beautifully presented, but dietary poisoning by the pork ribs later in the evening. Contact the restaurant to advise to prevent other diners from having an uncomfortable and never had an answer."

"Very warm, friendly and quaint cafe. My daughter and I dined here and shared a seafood crepe and side salad. The crepe was delicious, as were the prawns within, but the seafood was scant with way too much white sauce and only a teensy bit of lobster in my half and none in the other. The side salad was fresh and delicious. We shared a simple sugar and lemon crepe for dessert which we both loved. I would definitely dine here again, maybe choosing a different main. The only thing we thought was unusual was that they don't offer tap water for the table. All drinks need to be purchased which detracted a little from the experience."

"After winning a dinner voucher for $80 and hubby's birthday we decided on going for dinner. We were recommended the special for Spartan for two. Well I shared this with my teenager boy dumb idea as he ate most of it as all it really was a mixed grill. Nothing special. Hubby ordered Octupus (expensive) but received two large pieces and it was overcookrd. Octupus cook well is not rubbery. Other son ordered soulivki and it was very chewy. Greek beer was great. And the girls that serviced as were very lovely. Very expensive and really not that special. I am a cook so I am very hard to please. But we still enjoyed our night out. And really we only had too make up the bill. So for what we paid for all good. Would I rush back. No. Enjoy"

"Everytime we are in Mackay this is the first stop to go for a yummy ice cream. The Asian Lady was really friendly and we could try many flavours. We had 6 flavours between us and all tasted really good, also the serves were generous in size Just be aware for Vegan ice cream they charge 50 cent more, which I think is not really right."
