The service was excellent! The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the sweet potato pecan pancakes. The only disappointment I had was there were very little pecans in the pancakes. They were delicious though. Chopped pecans on top or more in the batter would have made it even better! I would recommend this place, and plan on coming back! View all feedback.

Doc Taylor's was pretty decent. Definitely felt the family centric vibes. Aesthetically this place is a wonderfully renovated home turned restaurant with ample seating inside and patio side. Doc's is located street-side, so you'll have to find parking in the back or nearby. The prices are fair and the food was decent. Found this place with Google. Little apprehensive because parking around oceanfront is limited. They do have parking in the back so it is a plus. Top notched and affable service, great food and super fast! Price is reasonable and will definitely come back.
Doc Taylor's was a first for me and I'd recommend to someone who's never been before easily. Finding it can be a little tricky (park in the back or on the street, walk to the front door where you see the ramp). It definitely gives chill beach vibes. Braden was our server and he was super sweet. Our food came out fast as hell too. Like. We ordered and there it was. Not sure if it was because it was 10 A.M. but I wasn't mad. The mimosas are delicious too. I ordered The Stroke and Doctor Tuttle's French toast and did a happy dance all the way through. Try it out if you've never been. And sit in the sun room if you can. It's nice
I love this diner, feels like home. Tasty food and great service! Go earlier, because it gets busy by 9 am.
From the moment we walked in it was great, servers were nice, the atmosphere is inviting! Our server was amazing I believe her name was Nicole.The food was AMAZING and the drinks...DELICIOUS!!! Definitely going back again!!
We love Doc Taylor's. It's a very chill vibe with inexpensive food. It's easy to miss because the front looks a little wonky but I like them better than most popular breakfast joints at Virginia Beach. The service is fast so you're also in and out quick so you can carry on with the rest of your day.
