"Small town bar and restaurant in Alder, MT. Service was okay, they were out of steak sandwiches,a very popular menu item. My wife got dish and chips basket and I got steak fingers basket with tots. The steak was seasoned well, but dry on the inside."

"I get it, the desk clerk is a young woman and that she is in therapy, however, she needs to learn that when a customer is questioning the reservation upon check-in, its NOT all about her but all about the customer and pleasing that customer. She needs to learn customer service and how to de-escalate instead of escalating an issue. So I had to take 2 stars off for service and 1 for the overall review. Check-in was definitely not a good experience and did taint the stay. I suggest management teach her and possibly even mentor her for awhile. The room was clean, quiet and lovely. Slept great. The restaurant there had delicious food (recommend the rib eye with the cowboy butter! and also had great service."

"I love her ice cream, especially Huckleberry! It tastes like the sky, it's a bit overpriced, but worth the shot. You can also taste their drinks, I have heard positive reviews about it. Service is beautiful, great experience"

"Maples! If you ever find yourself by way of Ennis, MT... or actually, within 103 miles of Ennis, make sure you work Maples into your schedule some how, some way. This place is locally sourced and is great awesome breakfast sandwiches, solid coffee and a great staff who are friendly, hard working, efficient and take their craft seriously. We were in town for a very short period of time and of course wanted to grab coffee and some breakfast on our way to the airport. Drink: *Iced chai latte with oat milk *Cold Brew Food: *Traditional Breakfast Sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. Absolutely delicious!
