The Pork Rib Plate with Potato Salad and Fried Okra at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The okra is hot and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the pork ribs are incredibly succulent. It's a truly delicious dish that will melt in your mouth. View all feedback.
What Crystal H doesn't like about Dickey's Barbecue Pit:
The ribs were dry and the kids didn't want to eat them. The macaroni and cheese was mediocre at best. Overall, it was a waste of money as most of the food ended up being thrown away because it was unappetizing. This experience reminded me why I typically avoid dining at Dickey's. View all feedback.
Amazing food the ribs and the sausage are my favorite and their mash potatoes casserole I can go on and on! Great environment, great customer service definitely worth it great prices too !!!! Win win love it
I went here today with my girlfriend, son, and her two grandchildren and her son's girlfriend, that was a serious meal.
Place was clean, people were very nice. I hadn't been there before in Visalia's restaurant but have eaten it before. I wanted to try the Burnt Ends and they didn't have any ready or at all I guess. So we went with the 2 kinds of chicken, potato salad, and a piece of toast and 2 drinks. It's a little pricey and you don't get a lot of food for your buck, and the potato salad was sweet not liking it that much. The sweet tea wasn't sweet...so she had to fix it. But it tasted good the second time around. So not sure if will be back or not. We got some gift cards so we decided to use them.
Let's start off with the bread it just tastes like 7 Eleven hot dog bread. The macaroni and cheese taste so store bought that I'm pretty sure I can go to the store and pick one randomly and it will probably taste like it. The fries are actually so good that I was kind of shocked considering the rest of the things I was eating. And finally i got the burnt ends and I personally despise barbecue sauce so I did not get it the meat should be good enough to eat on its own right?. Well apparently not it was Bland and for being burnt didn't taste that burnt
TINY portions, I mean downright meager. I 've never seen a 2 entree plate this size. Seriously, kids menu amount of food. I ordered the pulled pork and the brisket, both of them dry, but the brisket was shockingly so. I feel like you would have to TRY really hard to make it this dry. One of my sides, waffle fries: there were literally six of them...and I 'm being exact here, and they are valued at 3.50 the math on that comes out to .58 cents PER FRY. I really could go on about the food... Service was bizarre. There were two customers before me in line, both of which had returned to the register regarding forgotten items and mistakes on their orders, so I 'm the only person ordering food. There were 4 employees on the service line, and all 4 of them ended up touching something that went into my meal, which is hilarious overkill because nothing was cooked to order. It was like the most redundant assembly line as the 3rd employee 's only task was pumping BBQ sauce into a small container and handing off the bag to the cashier who then had to wait for the info to be passed down to him like a game of Telephone . I mean this seriously, they either have a gas leak in the building, these kids can 't handle their weed, someone needs to check and see if the hiring manager is ok, or all of the above. Get this franchise outta here!!!
