"Excellent stop for a quick takeaway meal, I got a chicken burrito for 24 RON (a little less than five Euros), a bargain considering its size (400g) and how tasty it was. The employee who helped me spoke good English so tourists should feel welcome."

"I have discovered this place almost 2 years ago and every time I vizit I have great culinary experience. I love the atmosphere, so relaxing, and the staff, always being kind and paying attention to the guests. I warmly recommend. And I have to mention the gin or better yet the diversity of this drink, you will never find another place like this one."

"La Ciurucuri is situated in the heart of the city in the close vicinity of Cismigiu Park. The restaurant surprises its customers with the most unusual setting. There are stoves, air fans, typing machines and old radios hanged from the ceiling, prompting the customers to believe they have stumbled upon an antique shop. The atmosphere is nonetheless, very welcoming, the waiters are attentive and dedicated to give the best customer service. The menu, which is presented in an amusing way, offers a variety of mouth-watering starters. I had quesadilla, a type of mexican sandwich, while my friends tried La Ciucucuri sandwich . Everything was top-notch. The plates were in fact quite consistent and I also had the best coffee I have ever had in Bucharest. It was followed by the most delicious cheesecake reinterpreted by the chef, for dessert. I would gladly have ordered a second course, but suddenly I remembered I was on a diet :D I highly recommend going to La Ciurucuri and try their menu."

"Located inside the Radisson hotel, Sharkia offers a menu of “Eastern Mediterranean” food in a casual bar setting—but let’s just get one thing straight: the best thing about this restaurant is their freshly baked pita bread! It actually came in two formats: a flatbread and a sliced loaf, but they were made using the same dough and came for free at every table. The bread was soft, chewy, and perfect for eating with the mezze dishes. My pick was the hummus with lamb, in which the creamy chickpea dip was topped with a flavorful mixture of ground lamb, pine nuts, parsley, and chili flakes. The ground meat mixture added an unctuous flavor to the already decadent hummus, and the plating of this dish was beautiful too. I also ordered the falafel with tahini dip, but the fritters were rather greasy and less than memorable. Finally, I had the Sharkia Kebab, which were ground beef/lamb kebabs in a tomato and onion sauce, baked in a pot covered with pita dough, which baked up into a chewy, edible lid. The kebabs and the tomato sauce were both tasty, but again, the best part was simply the bread!"

"Beautiful pub with great food. It is pet-friendly that is a big plus, as in Bucharest there are not so many places where dogs are accepted. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the place every time I visit him."

"Delicious food! We regularly order food from here and were never disappointed! Pasta is excellent and you should try Pollo al Salmone or Insalata Paesano the dressing perfectly blends with the ingredients and it is served with fresh and warm foccacia."
