"I love this place! It 's very retro looking straight out of the 1950s. But the main attraction is (of course) the frozen custard. It 's made right there, and in addition to the basic chocolate vanilla options, every day of the month has its own featured flavor. We were there most recently for espresso coffee flavor, which was divine. There are a lot of concoctions to be made with the frozen custard: plain cones, sundaes, milkshakes, etc., so you don 't ever have to have the same thing twice if you don 't want to! My husband I live about 10 miles away, but stop there for dessert any time we 're in this area. Highly recommended!"

"This is the full diner experience. Duct tape on every seat? Check. Waitress who knows every customer and yells at them (and the customers dish it out, too! ? Check. Typical diner food elevated by the atmosphere? Check. Inexpensive? Check. What did I order? Who cares. Establishments like this are getting hard to find. If I lived in the area, I'd bring my daughters every week. Fred's is a slice of Americana that reminds you of those days when everyone put in a hard day's work for honest pay. "I love their quality of bread, but this is not enough if a service for customers. This review refers to their customer service quality, I would give it a zero. I called on Wednesday 3 May at 4am and a very rude lady answer to the phone that showed a lot of attitude. I wish I had asked her name because she shouldn't work in customer service if she is not willing to treat customers with respect. I can understand if she had a bad day, but because of her actions customers can turn away. Quality of products and services for the customer goes hand in hand. Please train the staff better, your business deserves it."

"We went for the first time today and the 3 of us, 2 adults and 1 child, had a blast! We enjoyed the show and the food tasted great! The kids said she wants to go back again! She even loved the scallops! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and then you're emerged into a whole show. Its great! I would recommend this location to anyone looking for dinner and a show!!"
