"What an amazing experience we had there. This Viking village is a wonderful place Fjord giving you a great idea how life as a Viking would be back in the days. You have free tours in different languages where guides give you about the Vikings, and it was very informative (plus our guide was really entertaining with his explanations). In addition to the tour you are free to walk the village where there are activities that you (architecture and axe throw) and things you can buy. The small shop at the entrance has a lot to buy. I would definitely recommend it!"

"Very nice place! Best I have seen in Norway so far. Only minus was that it had been snowing all night and all slopes where covered in 25cm loose snow. Not a big problem for me but i was happy I didn't have my wife and kids with me because they wouldn't have enjoyed this day.. Maybe check the weather forecast and if they expect a lot of snow during the night then take the prepping of the slopes in the morning instead of wasting the effort the evening before ?? Otherwise excellent ski resort !!"

"Best skiing resort in Norway. Great variation of slopes and amazing views from the mountain peaks. There are often loads of people so be prepared for some long queues and crowded slopes. Most people here are very experienced skiiers though so you generally feel safe."

"I really enjoyed my meal. I had the lamb sausage and it was delicious. Generous portions, hot food, very friendly service, priced fairly, and properly homemade as well. Would eat here again. Thanks!"

"Room was nice and tidy, but no tw in the room. it seems as if the walls were thin, because when the other guests woke up around 6-7, they could clearly hear it. the room was dog friendly, which was a plus. nice and friendly staff who also works there"

"We arrived here on our way from Skjolden to Djonno. Although we had not made a reservation, Jose immediately made sure we could have something to eat. He fired up the grill and made the most delicious burgers for us. Don’t leave Voss without passing here! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"I was here one night, including breakfast. this place was once a youth hostel. the rooms are small and simple, but clean and exactly what they need. the owners are all very friendly. the chef is also welcoming and beautiful to speak. his dogs are the kindest I've met so far. the location and walks in nature gave me rest and a real feeling of holiday. breakfast was self-service, with many fresh and vegan options. they even had milk! the brot comes from a nearby bakery, asking them about the situation if they want to taste the best brot (or have breakfast). I recommend this place in any case for its good eating, friendly people and quiet atmosphere. updated from previous review on 2018-10-21"
