About expectations. Very comfortable. Spacious rooms. Staff very politely helpful. The restaurant was charming. Delicious food. Once again, the staff was polite. My husband ordered from the ordinary his request was fulfilled with a positive pleasant response. Can't wait to go back S22 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Green Hat Lounge:
We are often flyers on which no hot water plan at the Charley Creek Inn. No more excuse for it, and I'm tired of the lame excuses and shoulders that argue about the problem. A nice hotel that can't deliver hot water to your room because you didn't get up early enough is just wrong. This place is not cheap and guests deserve better. No more... View all feedback.

We spent a night at the hotel and the service was very good. We received a coupon for four pots of ice used in the Soda shop at the hotel, as well as two cookies for direct booking. Our room was large and well equipped. They are a boutique hotel and we agree!
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Wake up at 2 am very hot and could not adjust air contemp down. It reported the next morning at the reception after I was awake all night, and someone came into the room and verified it was not functional and asked if I wanted a maintenance call. I didn't point out that I'll check soon. Dinner was average and expensive $29 for Strip Loin. Brocolli was stolen, but raw. Breakfast was good. I asked for a walk in the shower when I had a knee injury, but got a bathtub/shower. The same person who checked for ac checked me out and did not offer a discount or a recommendation to a manager or a reasonable explanation for air cone not operational. It would be the question “do they know about these problems and simply ignore them”?. I didn’t have a shower because I couldn’t negotiate the bathtub, so not the “no hot water problem”. I feel if they offered me a discount, I would have rated it higher because I would have considered myself a potentially returning customer. Pillows under pillow cases were yellow, which was very nasty. Must protect waterproof covers over pillows. Costco kirkwood coffee in the room. Cheap curtains that would not completely open to enjoy the street view as they were painted so tight on the curtain bar. Windows would only open a few inches from bottom to top. Hotel is operated on a low budget. Sorry, like another spectator said, I really wanted it to be a great experience, but probably not back.

Beautifully restored hotel! Very interesting history! Reasonably priced! Service was excellent! We felt like we were at the Palmer House in Chicago! But only 50 mins from home not 3 hours! Looks like Wabash has some real gems we didn’t know about! We will definitely visit again!
