We're visiting Houston. My daughter is 8 years old, but an expert on bbq. In her humble opinion, the brisket surpasses almost all famous bbq places in Houston. She really likes it! The owner is so friendly. The special also comes on Saturday with free beer. Would definitely recommend this place to the people who visit Waco. read more.

HTK bbq is good for what it is. A small town bbq shop. The Brazos Nachos is my go to. The chip to bean to queso gives you the feeling of utter relaxation while washing it down with a frostie root beer. Downside is there is not a lot of seating and it's not the cleanest but it's bbq so I'd be scared if it was spotless. The brisket was good not great. The Mac n cheese was good but not great.
