I have been a regular customer at Royal Garden for a decade. Both at present location and prior above Kennedy's Pharmacy. From the outset it has distinguished itself as being far and away the best country Chinese restaurant we have experienced. I travel to Melb reguarly and Royal Garden is equivalent to the best in Chinatown in Melbourne. View all feedback.
What Damiano Conti doesn't like about Royal Garden Restaurant:
A bit of a worry. Saturday night after the Wagga Races, everyone in the main drag seemed to be very happy and at least slightly effected by alcohol or similar. I rang around and the restuarants were all booked out. I rang this one, and they had "plenty of tables" A Bit or a worry. We had the choice of cooking or going, so we went! Would have been better off staying home. Poor food, only 4 other diners in the restaura... View all feedback.
Perhaps it was because they were very busy or perhaps because we sat ourselves down, it took about half an hour before our order was taken.
we had 12 people for lunch for a birthday - was great food and 100% go back - staff was great too good service
