"The best afternoon tea. Let me make that clear. Everything was just so gorgeous. The lemon cake has to be tasted to be believed. Everything I 've had on the menu is so tasty. The very good bacon sandwich needs to be upgraded to most excellent . Service is friendly. They even have a card machine now! What more do you want?"

"I stopped by on my way to Rotherham for football and ordered the large English Breakfast for £10. Really friendly, chatty owners, lovely retro feel, and fabulous food. The breakfast included bacon, two sausages, two eggs, a hash brown, beans, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes. All served with two slices of toast and a pot of tea which easily made two mugs. Highly recommended and if I am in the area, I will definitely return."

"I messaged the diner a few days before we were heading to the area. The staff were really helpful at getting us in and reserved tables for us. We had regular updates on our table being prepared and ready. On arrival we were shown to our seats and served promptly by the lovely staff. The food was lovely and a great portion size, I beleive the menu was limited as our visit was in covid times but there was still plenty of choice. We got cakes to take away which were delicious. If I visit this area again I would definitely go back. Great service!"

"Very expensive for what it is. Gammon was nice. Lamb had too much sauce and when asked how’d we like our meat, little bit pointless asking when all the beef came rare and bloody. Staff were friendly enough. 10% service added to thing bill without even asking if we wanted to pay it, which if it goes to the staff then fine as service was ok but food was average. Salad bar good was nice with enough choice though."
