What wersiabacus likes about The New Union Wakefield Eatery:
Kitchen has only been open for 2 days and I had an all day breakfast. 2 bacon, 2 sausage beans or tomatoes, mushrooms, hash brown and 2 slices of thick buttered toast. All for a fiver! Standard of service 1st class and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back to sample more of the menu soon! View all feedback.

We visited for wakefield pride, and loved it, however the miserable bar staff in the new union were awful, who ever is the general manager needs to train the staff on customer skills. View all feedback.

"Just moved to the area from down south- returning to ‘God’s Own’. Had a great local F&C take out in Pinner so we were on a mission to replicate this. When we found The Grumpy Frier we hit the jackpot. Freshly cooked fish and delicious fries. The curry sauce is amazing. Highly recommend."
