Springbok Rugby on the big screen, friendly service, bring and braai with delicious salads provided, even a melktert shooter on the house Pity we missed the live band though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 500+

Having heard so much about this place, I had planned to stop here for brunch on Saturday afternoon after driving in from Joburg. Unfortunately for us, the owners daughter was getting married in the evening, so the restaurant was shut. The place is absolutely beautiful on the outside. The bar and restaurant are in the old station house and have so much quirky character. Since it was a very hot day, we had a beer and a cider served to us by the father of the bride who was manning the bar. We didn’t eat anything, so I can’t comment on the food, but the service and the location definitely get 4 stars.
